Richard Stockton (1-2) defeated Arcadia (1-1) 4-0 in the Ospreys’ home opener to give new head coach Michelle Andre her first win at Stockton. Jackie Turner (Medford/Shawnee) led the Ospreys with a goal and an assist. Nancy White (Ocean City/Ocean City), Gabrielle Palermo (Ocean Twp./ Ocean Twp.) and Gillian Terreri (Medford/Shawnee) added one goal apiece for the Ospreys. Stockton goalie Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) earned the shutout with seven saves.

Stockton took the early lead on a penalty corner just 2:07 into the game. Turner fed White whose blast from just inside the top of the arc sailed into the cage for a 1-0 lead. Palermo and Turner added unassisted goals in the final eight minutes of the first half to give the Ospreys a commanding 3-0 advantage at the break. The Stockton defense limited Arcadia to just two shots on goal in the second half and Terreri produced an unassisted goal with 15:09 remaining to seal the 4-0 Stockton victory.
