Boxscore
20th-ranked Richard Stockton (2-1) suffered its first loss of the season as the Ospreys fell to tournament-host Salisbury 2-0 in the championship game of the Elmer Lord Classic. The game was a matchup between two teams who both reached the NCAA Tournament last year. Stockton goalkeeper Anthony Pompei (Hamilton/Hamilton West) recorded six saves and kept the Sea Gulls off the scoreboard until the final 15 minutes of the match.

Salisbury outshot the Ospreys 19-10 overall, with Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) attempting a team-high three shots for Stockton. After a scoreless and even first half, Salisbury racheted up the offense in the second stanza by outshooting Stockton 16-5. The Sea Gulls broke through for the game-winner with 14:41 remaining and added an insurance goal just 4:46 before the final horn while Stockton was trying to press forward and tie the game.
