Pat Tolomeo (Ocean City/Ocean City) and Sean Nelson (Toms River/TR South) each scored two goals and dished an assist as Richard Stockton (4-1) defeated Albright (1-2-2) 6-0 and won the Seashore Classic on its home field. Butch Huff (Toms River/TR North) added a goal and an assist for the Ospreys. Goalkeeper Lou Herring (Freehold/Freehold) picked up the win, making two saves in 72 minutes played.

Huff opened the scoring on an assist from Nelson at the 21:05 mark of the first half and Nelson converted a penalty kick at 33:16 for a 2-0 lead. Stockton’s second-half goals came quickly as Tolomeo and Nelson scored 20 seconds apart. Sal Pistone (Blackwood/ Highland) scored his first career goal on a header at 62:05 and Tolomeo added another tally just 1:06 later as the Ospreys rolled to the 6-0 win.

Stockton freshman Chris Hayman (Pittsgrove/Schalick) was named the tournament MVP. Tolomeo, Huff, Nelson, Anthony Pompei (Hamilton/Hamilton West), Brennen Fitzsimmons (Neptune/Neptune) and Tom Parkinson (Old Bridge/Old Bridge) joined Hayman as Stockton’s representatives on the All-Tournament Team.
