Boxscore
Richard Stockton (1-5) fell short 3-2 on penalty strokes at DeSales (1-4) in the Ospreys’ second game in two days. Jackie Turner (Medford/Shawnee) and Gabrielle Palermo (Ocean Twp./Ocean Twp.) scored one goal apiece for Stockton. Goalkeeper Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) recorded 11 saves and Turner registered a defensive save for the Ospreys.

Turner gave Stockton a 1-0 lead with an early goal, her third of the season, just 8:48 into the game. DeSales tied the contest eight minutes later and the Bulldogs took a 2-1 lead with 4:17 remaining in the first half. The Ospreys forced overtime when Palermo netted her second goal of the year with just 1:39 left in regulation for a 2-2 tie.

The teams played two 15-minute overtime periods, with neither breaking through for the game-winning goal despite eight shots for DeSales and three for Stockton. Turner converted her attempt in the stroke-off, but she was the only Stockton player to make a successful try. DeSales connected on three of its five strokes to edge the Ospreys 3-2.
