Richard Stockton (6-2, 1-0) won its NJAC opener 25-17, 25-10, 25-18 over Rutgers-Camden (1-2, 0-1). The Ospreys, who are the defending NJAC champions, posted their fifth consecutive victory and 11th straight win over a conference opponent. Christine Velott (Moorestown/Moorestown) led the balanced Stockton attack with a team-high eight kills plus seven digs.

Stephanie Warner (Totowa/Passaic Valley) contributed six kills and three blocks for Stockton. Setters Laura Hausman (Bethlehem, PA/Catasauqua) and Jackie Aldrich (Westhampton Beach, NY/Westhampton Beach) dished 14 and 12 assists respectively. Christine Astarita (Selden, NY/Newfield) notched a team-high 11 digs.
