Richard Stockton (5-1-1) extended its unbeaten streak to five games (4-0-1) with a 5-0 victory over St. Joseph’s-L.I. (1-5). Amanda Altman (Beachwood/Toms River South) led Stockton with two goals and Courtney Dougherty (Ocean City/Ocean City) added a goal and an assist. Laura O’Shea (Petersburg/ Ocean City) and Sara Petersen (Beachwood/Toms River South) also netted one goal apiece while Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) recorded two assists.

Dougherty opened the scoring in the first half with a 23-yard free kick from straight on at 25:37. Dougherty also began Stockton’s second scoring play as she sent a long pass to Gibney whose one-touch pass found O’Shea for the easy finish to put the Ospreys on top 2-0.

In the second half, Altman scored her first two goals of the season six minutes apart for a 4-0 lead. Ashley Battilana (West Deptford/West Deptford) notched her first college point with an assist on Altman’s second marker. A pair of seniors collected milestones on Stockton’s final tally. Petersen scored her first career goal and Christina Caturano (North Brunswick/North Brunswick) earned her first career point with an assist on the play to complete the 5-0 Stockton victory.
