Richard Stockton (5-1) defeated New York University (2-4) 3-0 for its third consecutive shutout win, with all three coming on Stockton’s home field. Three different players scored goals for the Ospreys and Sean McCallum (Vineland/Vineland) assisted on two markers. Anthony Pompei (Hamilton/ Hamilton West) made three saves in posting his second shutout of the season.

Sean Nelson (Toms River/Toms River South) opened the scoring just under nine minutes into the contest on McCallum’s first helper. Sal Pistone (Blackwood/Highland) scored his second goal in as many games with 2:33 remaining in the first half and George Hamilton (Medford/Shawnee) recorded the assist on the play.

Pat Tolomeo (Ocean City/Ocean City) finished the scoring 3:35 into the second half with his team-leading fifth goal of the season on the second assist of the night from McCallum. The Ospreys played tremendous defense in support of Pompei during the evening, including a stop by Brennen Fitzsimmons (Neptune/Neptune) in front of an empty net that prevented a sure goal in the first half.
