Richard Stockton (1-6) was unable to rally from an early deficit and fell to Moravian (4-4) 1-0. Stockton goalkeeper Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) kept the Ospreys within striking distance by making nine saves, but Stockton was blanked for just the second time this season.

Moravian grabbed the early 1-0 lead only 11 minutes after the opening whistle. The Greyhounds made the lone tally stand up for 59 minutes with a strong defensive effort as they limited Stockton to just one shot on goal in the contest.
