Stockton Women Third, Men Fifth at Delaware Invitational

Richard Stockton placed third out of seven with 74 points on the women’s side and fifth of seven with 96 points in the men’s race as the Ospreys competed in the NCAA Division II/III bracket at the University of Delaware Invitational. Abad Akhtar (Brigantine/Atlantic City) was the top individual performer for Stockton, finishing fifth in the men’s race (27:19.45).

Robyn Evangelist (Northfield/Mainland) placed sixth in the women’s race (20:40.19), followed by Meredith Malloy (Hamilton/Hamilton West) in seventh place (20:46.21). Katherine Rudy (Bound Brook/Bound Brook) finished 18th (21:46.05) to complete the trio of Ospreys in the top third of the 60-runner field. Matt Ardelean (Margate/Atlantic City) crossed the line 11th in the men’s race (28:15.56) while Jim Codianni (Medford/Shawnee) finished 21st (29:04.88) for Stockton.
