Richard Stockton (7-1-1, 2-0 NJAC) extended its unbeaten streak to seven games (6-0-1) as the Ospreys downed Rutgers-Camden (3-5-1, 0-1-1) 2-0 in an NJAC home game. The Ospreys netted one goal in each half and outshot Rutgers-Camden 15-4. Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) scored on a cross from Laura O’Shea (Petersburg/Ocean City) to give Stockton a 1-0 lead late in the first half at 36:24. The goal, Gibney’s fourth in the last two games, extended her point scoring streak to four matches.

Freshman Rachel Carlson (Mullica Twp./Oakcrest) got her first career tally in the second half. Carlson’s 22-yard shot to the top right corner came off a feed from Amanda Altman (Beachwood/Toms River South) at 61:14. Stockton goalkeeper Maria Dorris (Mantua/Clearview) recorded her third shutout of the season by turning away two shots in the 2-0 Stockton victory.
