Amanda Altman (Beachwood/Toms River South) scored two goals with less than five minutes to play as Richard Stockton (8-1-1, 3-0) downed Ramapo (5-4, 1-2) 2-1 in an NJAC game. The Ospreys won their fifth straight match and improved to 7-0-1 in their last eight contests. Stockton goalkeeper Maria Dorris (Mantua/Clearview) made two saves in extending her unbeaten streak to eight games.

Ramapo scored 3:09 into the second half and the Roadrunners were just five minutes from pulling the upset before Altman’s late-game heroics. After the Ramapo goalie punched away a shot, the junior tracked down a loose ball and scored to tie the game at 1-1 with 4:14 remaining. Altman then tallied the game winner on a pass from Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) less than two minutes later as Stockton prevailed 2-1.
