Ospreys Win All Three Matches in Stockton Quad

Richard Stockton (11-5) went undefeated with three sweeps in a quad-match on its home court. The Ospreys started with a 25-13, 25-6, 25-9 win over John Jay. Tabitha Nejman (Runnemede/Our Lady of Mercy) pounded 11 kills and Christine Velott (Moorestown/Moorestown) added 10 kills. Setter Kate Berninger (Midland Park/Midland Park) handed out 13 assists.

Stockton then swept Swarthmore 25-13, 25-23, 25-18 as Velott tallied 12 kills and eight digs. Christine Astarita (Selden, NY/ Newfield) scooped 16 digs and Laura Hausman (Bethlehem, PA/Catasauqua) notched 16 assists. The Ospreys finished the day with a 25-8, 25-10, 25-12 triumph over Manhattanville. Velott recorded eight kills and 10 digs while Berninger handed out 16 assists.
