Richard Stockton (8-3-1, 3-2) was upset 2-1 by Rutgers-Newark (5-7, 1-4) as the Ospreys fell to the Scarlet Raiders for the first time in the 10-year history of the series. Freshman forward Kiera Hines (Deptford/Deptford) scored the only goal for Stockton. Freshman goalkeeper Brittney Boyle (Pemberton/Pemberton) made her first career start and recorded one save for the Ospreys.

Hines snagged a loose ball and rolled a shot into the net for her fourth goal of the season to give Stockton a 1-0 lead just 2:11 into the second half. Rutgers-Newark scored on two headers nine minutes apart, first on a corner kick at 62:56 and then on a restart at 71:27, for the upset victory. Stockton outshot the Scarlet Raiders 22-7 for the game.
