Richard Stockton (10-4-1, 3-2-1) and The College of New Jersey (5-4-4, 3-1-2) played to a 0-0 tie, keeping Stockton one point behind TCNJ in the NJAC standings. Good shots were hard to come by as both teams played outstanding defense, with Stockton goalkeeper Lou Herring (Freehold/Freehold) making the save of the night. Herring stopped a Lions’ player on a semi-breakaway with 10:05 remaining in the first half.

Stockton’s best opportunities came late in the second half as Devin Reilley (Woodstown/St. Augustine) registered two shots and Stockton attempted two corner kicks in the last nine minutes of regulation. Herring made three routine saves in overtime to finish with six for the game and post his fourth shutout of the season. Offensively, the Ospreys registered two shots on goal in OT, but the match ended in a 0-0 tie.
