Richard Stockton (3-13) was edged 2-1 by Stevenson (5-11) in a non-conference home game. Bernadette Jablonoski (Cherry Hill/Paul VI) scored her second goal of the season and junior Cory Silvio (Vineland/Vineland) registered her first career point with an assist on the play. Stockton goalkeeper Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) kept the Ospreys close with 20 saves.

Stevenson tallied the only goal of the first half at 23:07 for a 1-0 lead. The Mustangs added an insurance goal at 54:33 that turned out to be crucial. Jablonoski scored just 2:06 after the second Stevenson goal to pull Stockton within 2-1, but the Ospreys fell short in their comeback attempt despite outshooting the Mustangs 12-7 in the second half.
