Richard Stockton (12-6-1, 5-4) ended the regular season with a 2-1 defeat at home against William Paterson (9-6-3, 5-2-2). Lindsay Roake (Neptune/Neptune), one of nine seniors to be honored before the match, scored her first goal of the season. Stockton goalkeeper Maria Dorris (Mantua/Clearview) registered three saves. With the loss, Stockton drew the No. 4 seed for the NJAC tournament after seeing its three-game winning streak halted.

William Paterson scored the only goal of the first half on a free kick at 21:11. The Pioneers doubled their lead to 2-0 with another tally at 60:04. Five minutes later, Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) poked a loose ball to Roake, whose 15-yard shot bounced off the diving goalie’s hands and then off the post before settling in the net to pull Stockton with 2-1. William Paterson held off the Ospreys for the next 25 minutes for the 2-1 final score.
