 We are staffed by: two part-time physicians, one part-time nurse practitioner, two full-time registered nurses, a part-time nutritionist, a full-time health educator, an office manager, secretary and receptionist.
We are an out patient clinic open to all currently enrolled students, with no charge for the services rendered. Funds to operate this facility are provided through a health-services fee paid by all students. We are dedicated to the holistic approach to health care. Among the services offered are:

Appointments are required and may be made by calling (609) 652-4701. Those without appointments may be seen as “walk-ins” by a registered nurse ;and scheduled to see the physician  according to assessment. Dedicated hours are set up for allergy shots and TB skin testing.

HEALTH EDUCATOR,

Luanne provides health education workshops regarding a variety of health related topics to groups or individual information for students, faculty and staff. Luanne is also the advisor for the Certified Peer Educator Club that trains students to reach out and provide education, information and appropriate referrals to other students.

NUTRITIONIST, Kim Raring, MS, RD

Hours:   Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Morning, afternoon and early evening appointments are available throughout the academic year. 

Kim is available to provide individualized nutrition counseling to students.  Sessions are highly tailored to meet a student’s personal goals.  Typical areas of interests are:  healthy eating strategies, eating for energy, weight management, gaining weight and sports nutrition.  In addition, she is able to assist students with nutritional medical concerns, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated blood cholesterol levels and eating disorders.  Kim also coordinates and/or participates in nutrition based programs on campus, such as Eating Disorder Screenings, National Nutrition Month and Wellness Day and presents a variety of workshops to students, staff and faculty.
