School of Graduate and Continuing Studies

Remember that not all programs offer admission to all terms. Please check with your program's Web site for term availability and deadline information or follow the steps below to properly begin the application process. If you are ready to apply, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Apply Now".

The deadline to apply for fall 2013 for most programs is July 1, 2013. Please review your program's deadline on the Graduate Programs page.

The link to the application is at the bottom of this page. Please follow the step below carefully before you begin.

Step 1:  Choose A Program of Study

  • Before applying, select your program from the list of Graduate Programs.
  • Check to be sure that you meet the program's requirements by clicking "View Details".
  • Make sure your program does not require an additional supplemental application.
  • View your program's application deadline, prerequisite requirements, supplemental forms, and then continue with the application process.

Step 2:  Research Before Beginning the Application Process

  • Would you like to "try out" a graduate course first as a non-matriculated student?
  • Not quite ready to apply and want to Request More Information about the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies?
  • Does your program of interest require additional pre-requisites?  Check by visiting your graduate program's web page.
  • Are you an international student?  Please leave this page and follow the instructions on the International Students site.
  • Find out if your program requires you to submit your application through a centralized application system. The Richard Stockton College participates in two centralized application services:
    1. Physical Therapy Centralized Application Service (PTCAS). PTCAS is an information clearinghouse which transmits to a physical therapy school the biographical and academic data required by admissions committees. Students applying to Stockton’s DPT program must submit the PTCAS application as well as Stockton’s Online Supplemental Application.
      • Your Application to PTCAS application should include:
        • Official Transcripts from all schools attended
        • Three letters of recommendation, one from a licensed physical therapist
        • Essay, resume, observation hours, and any other additional information
        • For details please visit www.ptcas.org.
      • Your Stockton Supplemental Application should include:
        • Signature Page along with the $50 non-refundable application fee (this is in addition to the PTCAS fee)
        • Educational Background Form (click here for the form)
        • Official Standardized Test Scores (either the GRE or SAT/ACT) sent directly to PTCAS.
    2. Communication Sciences and Disorders Centralized Application Service (CSDCAS). CSDCAS is an information clearinghouse which processes and transmits to a school the biographical and academic data required by admissions committees. Students applying to Stockton’s Master of Science in Communication Disorders program must submit the online application to CSDCAS as well as Stockton’s Online Supplemental Application.
      • Your Application to CSDCAS application should include:
        • Official Transcripts from all schools attended
        • Three letters of recommendation, one from a licensed physical therapist
        • Essay, resume, observation hours, and any other additional information
          For details please visit www.csdcas.org.
      • Your Stockton Supplemental Application should include:
        • Signature Page along with the $50 non-refundable application fee (this is an addition to the CSDCAS fee)
        • Educational Background Form (click here for the form)
        • Official GRE Test Scores sent directly to CSDCAS.

All application materials must be submitted to our office prior to the stated deadline.

Step 3:  Begin the Application Process

  • Request all college transcripts as soon as possible. Even if you transferred to multiple colleges, Stockton requires transcripts from every school attended.  Transcripts are usually the most common missing items that hold up applications from being completed on time.
  • If your program of interest requires standardized testing, it is highly recommended you begin studying and registering for the test as soon as possible. This is another item that holds up applications from being completed on time.
  • Please ask your evaluators to turn in letters of recommendation along with the appropriate form before the deadline to ensure an application is completed on time.

Application deadlines are firm.  Our application process is self-managed and the applicant is responsible for ensuring the Office of Graduate Admissions receives all required materials by, and/or postmarked prior to the stated deadline.  Only completed applications will be considered and reviewed by the Admissions Committee.

Step 4:  Review Instructions on How to Apply

  • To begin the application, click “Apply Now” below.
  • Create your account: First-time users select “First time user account creation.”
  • You will be prompted to a colorful chart. Use the chart as a guide for selecting the proper application type, i.e. PTCAS and CSDCAS applicants must select "Supplemental Application-CAS" NOT Graduate Application.
  • Begin filling out your application. Enter name and previous/maiden name if applicable.
  • Continue through your application by clicking the continue button and moving onto the next section of your application.
  • Move on to “Permanent Address,” “Mailing Address,” “Personal Information,” “Academic Interest,” “Previous Colleges,” “Standardized Test Scores,” “Additional Information,” and lastly, “Web Supplements.”
  • Once finished and ready to submit the application, click the “Submit Application” button and view the "Signature Page".
  • Print the "Signature Page".  You MUST print and sign your name on this form and mail it in along with all other supplemental application forms required by your program with the non-refundable $50 application fee (made payable to The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey) to:
