On the journey the ship passes one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Pharos island lighthouse. The captain tries to avoid paying customsÕ duty on Leontius by dressing him in TitusÕs toga, but a passenger tells him in front of the customsÕ officers that anyone who wears a toga, even for a moment, becomes a free Roman citizen.
