Energy Studies

Lynn Stiles received the Ph.D. in Experimental Physics from Cornell University and is currently Professor of Physics and coordinator of the Energy Studies/Geothermal Project at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. An author of numerous articles on energy conservation in buildings, in the last ten years he has focused his research on Underground Thermal Energy Storage and GeoExchange technology. He has been representing the US on the International Energy Agency Executive Committee on Energy Conservation Through Energy Storage (since 1995) and also on various Experts Groups on Underground Thermal Energy Storage (since 1994). Dr. Stiles has also been working with the NJDEP (Office of Innovative Technology) and the Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium as well as industry groups in promoting sound design and installation of GHP and Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage systems.
