  Computerized Resources

The Stockton College Library has multiple ways for patrons to electronically access data. There are over 100 computers in the Stockton Library. Upon entering the library, the first two computers a patron sees are dedicated solely to those who wish to search the Stockton catalog. There are six other standing computers in the main area for quick access to any items on the Library homepage or general Internet searching.

The reference area of the Library offers seating at 13 computers to search either Library holdings and indexes or the Internet. Also on the main level of the Library, in the reference North area, are 10 personal computers that have general Library and Internet access in addition to the Microsoft Office Professional series. The Library also provides laptop computers which are configured just as the personal computers. The laptops can be checked out at the circulation desk and used within the Library.

Throughout the Library, there are single computers set up to search Stockton's Catalog. There is one in periodicals, three on the upper level with the circulating books, and one on the lower level. The lower level, which houses Government Documents, also offers two computers for searching data CDs issued by the federal government. Additionally, there are 18 computers available for the public's use. They are equipped with Internet access and Microsoft Office. The upper level of the Library houses eight more computers that are set up in the same manner as those on the main and lower levels.
