The 1600-acre campus provides a natural laboratory for field activities. Concern for the impact of the College's construction upon the environment has led Stockton to set aside approximately 400 acres for use as an outdoor research laboratory.
The College’s location in the Pinelands provides an ideal laboratory for studying the natural environment. Few colleges can match the diversity of habitats and study areas available on the Stockton campus.
