Emily Heerema graduated from Stockton in 2008 with a BA in Literature and minors in Political Science and Holocaust Studies. As an undergraduate, she was the Editor in Chief of The Argo, president of the English honor society Sigma Tau Delta, and president of the student anti-genocide movement S.T.A.N.D. Emily was also an Orientation Leader and SOAR Mentor. Since graduating, she was a corps member with City Year New York and has worked as a substitute teacher in New Jersey. She will be returning to Stockton in 2011 for a Masters in Occupational Therapy.
