There's nothing quite like the excitement of hands-on learning in the natural environment. The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey is located in the middle of one of the best learning environments in the nation for undergraduate marine, biological and environmental sciences. Our main campus is set amidst 1400 acres of South Jersey's well-known Pine Barrens and our Marine Science and Environmental Field Station is located on the Nacote Creek, a tributary of the pristine Mullica River-Great Bay Estuary. This extensive barrier-beach estuarine system has been designated as the Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve and is managed through a partnership of land owners in the region. The location of our Marine Field Station affords Stockton students and faculty first class access to the Reserve's large variety of habitats for research and teaching programs.
Please visit the rest of the Marine Science and Environmental Field Station website by following the links to the left. Here you can find information on our facilities, research vessels and equipment, undergraduate and faculty research and when it is a good time to come visit the Field Station. Check back often for updates to the research projects and please contact us should you have any questions regarding the Field Station's academic or research programs.
