Bay-Atlantic Symphony
“A Night At The Opera”

November 8 • Sunday • 2 PM

*Conversation with the Conductor at 1 PM on the Main Stage

This performance is full of high spirits, soaring melody, and drama, as the orchestra dramatizes symphonic works that embody the spirit of Italian Opera. Mendelssohn’s brilliantly-hued, infectious, and sunny masterpiece is paired with the second performance ever of Panariello’s homage to comic opera. The work, commissioned by BAS soloists—the brilliant Poulenc Trio, deftly recalls the wit, humor, and long-lined melody of the genre.

$15 Children (under 12 with adult ticket)

Symphony Program:
Overture to The Barber of Seville - Gioacchino Rossini
Triple Concerto (Homage to Opera Buffa) - Gaetano Panariello
