How
do I get involved with ULTRA?
Participation in ULTRA workshops is your first step to getting involved. After
attending 8 ULTRA programs, students qualify for a Co-Curricular Transcript.
Complete the Validation Form and you can also include activities beyond your
ULTRA attendance, including campus activities, volunteer work and professional

What
is ULTRA?
The Undergraduate Learning, Training and Awareness Program (ULTRA) is a Co-Curricular
Transcript program focused on enhancing the quality of campus life and promoting
the educational, professional and personal development of Stockton students.
The ULTRA Program offers workshops in 4 areas:
Learning, Training, Awareness and Community Service.
The Learning Component provides programs in which specific skills can be acquired.
Modules in academic survival and study skills, resume construction, and life-long
learning skills are included.
The Training Component offers certifications in physical health, wellness
and safety. You may choose from a variety of certification courses including:
Community First Aid, CPR, Lifeguard Training, Mediation, HIV/AIDS and Sports Medicine.
The Awareness Component provides exposure to a vast number of human relation
areas and issues. Modules in mental health, human relations, drug and alcohol
awareness, communication skills and multicultural issues are included.
The College and Community Service Component provides opportunities for students to
engage in Community Service activities on and off campus. The program also facilitates
a learning experience for students to connect their Community Service with academic and life experiences.
Can
I include off-campus activities?
Entries for off-campus activities are accepted, but must be submitted on a Co-Curricular Transcript
Off-Campus Validation Form (available in G-206) to the ULTRA office located in G-206. Students can contact the ULTRA office
with any questions about verifying off-campus involvement.
How
do I obtain a Co-Curricular Transcript
Obtain your Co-Curricular Transcript through this simple process:
1. Attend an ULTRA program. Once you have registered for (signed in)
and attended a total of eight programs, you qualify for a Co-Curricular Transcript.
2. Complete the Co-Curricular Transcript Submitted Entry Record in the ULTRA Office in G-206. Include
additional information about your Leadership Activities, Honors and Awards,
Professional or Educational Development, Participation in Student Organizations,
Participation in Campus Activities, and Community Service/ Volunteerism.
This step can be repeated throughout your years at Stockton so the Co-Curricular
Transcript accurately represents your experience and skills.
Submit your request
early, as your official Co-Curricular Transcript must be produced, validated and signed
by the Dean of Students.
What is the purpose of a Co-Curricular Transcript?
A Co-Curricular Transcript is an official record of your participation in ULTRA
workshops, as well as in other approved Stockton sponsored programs.
Co-Curricular Transcripts provide official documentation reflecting your involvement
in student development that can be valuable when applying to graduate school
or employment.
Involvement in the Co-Curricular Transcript program helps you develop personal
contacts with professional staff and faculty members from all areas of the College
who can assist you in achieving your personal and career goals.
As a complement to your resume and academic transcript, a Co-Curricular Transcript
is a personal marketing tool that highlights your out-of-class experience.
