Galloway Township, NJ –  The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey will host its Annual Ida E. King Lecture, titled “Gentle Heroism: Jewish Women’s Responses to Nazi Brutality”.  The event will be presented by Dr. Myra Goldenberg on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 7:30 p.m., and will take place on the second floor of Stockton’s library (E-wing) adjacent to the Holocaust Resource Center

The lecture is free and open to the public.  For New Jersey educators, 1.5 professional development hours are available.

This event is a reflection on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of Kristallnacht (“The Night of the Broken Glass”), November 9-10 1938, the state sponsored destruction of Jewish businesses, homes, and places of worship throughout Germany and Austria
