Margate's Temple Emeth Shalom Hosts "Salute to Stockton" Guest Speakers Series

Galloway Twp., NJ – Temple Emeth Shalom's Eighth Annual Summer Speakers Series will once again feature faculty and staff members from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
Rabbi Gordon Geller said the "Salute to Stockton" talks, to be held on consecutive Fridays from July 29 though August 19 will focus on topics of interest to the Jewish and general community.
"Our previous series were very well received and we're delighted to have the opportunity to put another "Salute to Stockton" series together," Rabbi Geller said. "Stockton is home to many world-class scholars, a fine Religious Studies program and the region's only Holocaust Resource Center. This lecture series is just one more example of the College's partnership with and outreach to our community."
The series of talks will take place at the Temple in the sanctuary during Sabbath eve services starting at 8 p.m. The Temple is located at 8501 Ventnor Avenue in Margate (near the corner of Ventnor and Jerome Avenues.) These events are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Friday July 29: Professor Israel Posner: “It Takes a Community: Building Local Partnerships.”
Friday August 5: President Herman J. Saatkamp, Jr.: “Two Years at Stockton: Successes, Opportunities, and Challenges”
Friday August 12: Professor Yitzhak Sharon: “Relativity Speaking About Albert Einstein”
Friday, August 19: Professor David Emmons: “Sept. 11: Looking Beyond the Headlines”
