Atlantic City, NJ – Continuing Stockton College’s “Carnegie at Carnegie” series, the Office of Management Development and Professional Services is offering “Step Up to Leadership” on Friday, September 27, 2005 delivered by Dale Carnegie Training of Southern New Jersey. The program will be held at the College’s new Carnegie Library Center, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. and Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City.  The day long event, featuring the highly experienced trainers from Dale Carnegie begins at 8:00 a.m. and will run through 5:00 p.m.  The cost of the program is $250.00, which includes lunch.

“We are delighted to be working with such a great name in training as Dale Carnegie, and it is appropriate to be conducting it in our new satellite center in the heart of downtown Atlantic City,” said Dr. Israel Posner of the Office of Management and Professional Services at the College.  “We’re calling the conference "Carnegie at Carnegie.”

“We’re fortunate to have partnered with Dale Carnegie Training,” Posner said. “It is a tremendous opportunity to have this type of training in our area and all industries can benefit from our continuing ‘Carnegie at Carnegie’ leadership programs. This program is a natural fit for our professional development training series and we’re looking forward to bringing such a successful training method to our community and making it available to our local workforce.”

Dale Carnegie training provides professional development of individuals, groups of employees and supervisors.  The event in Atlantic City is adapted from Dale Carnegie Training’s time-tested method for enhancing productivity and employee performance.

“Step Up to Leadership” teaches the tools to successfully provide direction for your team or department, enhances delegation and accountability, and a resource to providing feedback and encouragement.
