Support Stockton

A Welcome Message from the Director of Alumni Affairs

Greetings
from your beloved alma mater, Stockton University! I am thrilled to reach out to you as the Director of Alumni Affairs and let you know how proud Stockton is of all our graduates.  The Office of Alumni Affairs is the primary link between the University and our alumni.  We recognize and embrace our alumni as vital to the success and advancement of Stockton University.  Therefore, we encourage all alumni to be informed, involved and invested.

It is an exciting time at Stockton.  For the first time in history, the University’s top three leaders are alumni.  President Harvey Kesselman, Class of 1979, Stockton Board of Trustees Chair, Madeleine Deininger, Class of 1980, and Stockton Foundation Chair, Richard S. Dovey, Class of 1975 are all proud graduates.  This is a point of pride for Stockton alumni.

There are many ways you can continue your relationship with Stockton.  Attending alumni events, keeping your contact information up to date, serving as a volunteer, reading The Nest, the monthly alumni newsletter, and supporting your alma mater with a gift are all important ways you can support Stockton.

You are part of a robust community of alumni.  Here are just a few highlights from last year:

  • 49,000+ Living Alumni
  • 1,884 Engaged Alumni (either made a gift, attended an event or volunteered)
  • 26,428 Alumni with Active Email Addresses
  • 31 Alumni Events Hosted by Alumni Affairs

Stockton alumni are the University’s most valuable assets.  Looking forward, areas of focus include providing meaningful volunteer opportunities, enhanced young alumni programming and increased collaboration with campus partners.  We hope you are excited about all that is happening at your alma mater.

We launched Stockton’s first Presidential Vision Tour in January.  Six months later, we had hundreds of alumni and friends attend our 10 tour stops in six different states.  The Stockton community is filled with pride and appreciation from the outpouring of enthusiasm and support shared by all. Over the course of the Vision Tour, we were able to share messaging with more than 55,000 alumni and friends about Stockton’s transformational growth, success and strategic vision.  This is a significant step in advancing our efforts to increase the number of alumni and friends who are informed, involved and invested with Stockton.  Their commitment, along with yours, to our students and our mission remains a paramount need. Some of Stockton's alumni and friends who joined the Vision Tour shared their thoughts in the video below.
