Richard Stockton (5-5, 2-0 Skyline) took control of the game early and rolled to a 15-5 victory over Mount St. Vincent (7-6, 0-2) to improve to 2-0 in league games. Brian Santoleri (Berwyn, PA/Archbishop Carroll) led the Ospreys with a game-high five goals. Drew Wright (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) tallied two goals and two assists. Stockton outshot the Dolphins 63-31. Nick Bologno (Glen Gardner/North Hunterdon) scored one goal and dished five assists. Goalkeeper Tim Wolcott (Toms River/TR North) earned the win with nine saves. Dave Soule (Kinnelon/Kinnelon) scored twice in the first quarter to help the Ospreys break out to a 4-1 lead. Wright and Zach Wilkins (Marlton/Cherokee) netted the only goals of the second quarter to increase Stockton’s advantage to 6-1 at the half. Santoleri scored twice in the third quarter to offset three goals by Mount St. Vincent that made the score 8-4 after three periods. Stockton put the game out of reach with seven markers in the fourth quarter. Santoleri and Wade Veselka (Chesterfield/Northern Burlington) tossed in two goals apiece to lead the outburst. Freshman Eugene Isola (Monroe Twp./Christian Brothers Academy) notched his first career goal as the Ospreys cruised to the 15-5 win. |
