STOCKTON TEAMS COMPETE IN DELAWARE OPEN |

The Richard Stockton track & field teams traveled to the University of Delaware to compete amongst a variety of teams from all NCAA divisions as well as track clubs and unaffiliated entrants in the Delaware Open. The Stockton men’s team won four events at the meet, led by freshman Tim Miller (Tuckerton/Pinelands) with two victories. Miller won the high jump (1.93m) and long jump (6.45m) for the Ospreys. Kevin Miller (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) won the javelin (56.58m) and finished second in the discus (45.75m). Randy Faiges (Bayville/Central Regional) completed the list of Stockton victors by winning the 3000m steeplechase (9:56.78). Ryan Mazzeo (Marmora/Ocean City) finished second in the pole vault (4.26m) and Dan Ingrum (Egg Harbor City/ Absegami) was fourth (3.96m). Dillon Glasser (Mays Landing/ACIT) placed third in the steeplechase (10:27.40) and Jim Codianni (Medford/ Shawnee) was fourth in the 3000m (9:05.05). Morgan Sinclair (Chadds Ford, PA/Unionville) paced the Stockton women’s team as she finished third in the 5000m (19:11.50). In the throwing events, Bree Hudik (Bordentown/ Bordentown) placed fourth in the discus (34.30m) and Christine Eiserle (Jackson/Msgr. Donovan) was fourth in the javelin (37.25m). |
