Bill Daly is Distinguished Professor of Political Science at Stockton. He was a member of the first cohort of faculty hired when the College opened its doors to students and he has taught in both General Studies and Political Science for the entire 40 years of the College’s existence. He has received awards for excellence in teaching at all three of the colleges at which he has taught, including Stockton. He has also served at Stockton, for short periods, both as Dean of General Studies and as Vice President for Academic Affairs, and he was selected by the New Jersey Department of Higher Education to serve as Chairman of four separate statewide task forces assembled in the 1980s to shape state higher education policy.
