Lew Steiner

Lew Steiner was born in NY City and raised in Ventnor, NJ where he attended the Ventnor Schools, Atlantic City High and the Charter Class of Stockton, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Steiner lives in Northfield with his wife Christine and they have two grown children. At the age of 20 while a Junior at Stockton, Steiner recognized that there was a need for an entertainment and dining newspaper in South Jersey and in the spring of ’74, Steiner founded Whoot Newspaper which he sold in 2000 and renamed it Atlantic City Weekly in 2003. Steiner is now in his 37th year as Publisher of AC Weekly and more recently ACWeekly.com.
