Richard N. Schwartz earned a BA in Political Science, and an MA in Public Administration, from the University of Michigan. His career in higher education began as a Campus Planner and led to several posts as Vice President for Business Affairs, and a two-year period as Acting President. After retiring from higher education, he spent a number of years involved in building and operating facilities for Townsend Capital of Baltimore. Now retired, he and his wife Janet, a member of Stockton’s first graduating class, live in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
