Federal law defines individuals with disabilities as those who have "a physical or mental impairment which substantially limits one or more major life activities."

Any student at Stockton with a physical, sensory, emotional or learning disability should meet with personnel from the Learning Acess Program as soon as possible. Even students who have a mild or temporary disability may find it beneficial to speak with the LAP staff.

Learn more about Section 504, Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the disabilities or impairments that would qualify a student under Section 504.
